KERRY grew up in Michigan. His father was a painter and Kerry spent summers learning the trade working with his dad and uncle. He moved to Iowa in the late 70’s to attend Bible College. He began working with a local painter in Oskaloosa then later decided to start his own business to support his ministry at a small country church in Union Mills. He utilized the business as a way to help members of the community and his congregation by providing jobs for those in need of employment. He raised a daughter and four sons. He and his wife, Jill, have 22 grandchildren.

Kerry now serves as a consultant for the business, maintains equipment, and occasionally makes deliveries to job sites when needed.
