AMBER is also a New Sharon native and North Mahaska alumna. She earned a degree in Business from the University of Northern Iowa. Before officially joining the Lake Painting team in 2014, Amber worked for several area companies and educational institutions. Over the course of her career she was able to develop valuable skill sets that now help her manage the many facets of Lake Painting including customer service, bookkeeping, inventory control, human resources, public relations, and graphic design.

She enjoys having freedom and flexibility to spend time with her four children, volunteer, and pursue her interest of interior design. In addition to managing the daily operations of Lake Painting and a busy household of six, she serves Vice Chair of the North Mahaska Educational Foundation and helps Alan coordinate The King’s Court basketball program at UMCC every year.
