ALAN LAKE

Owner, CEO, Head Technician

ALAN grew up in New Sharon, Iowa and graduated from North Mahaska High School. He then went on to earn his degree in Pastoral Ministries and Communication from Vennard College in University Park, Iowa.

Alan began working with the company in 1987 as a young boy doing small jobs such as helping with clean up and organizing tools. He continued working in the family business throughout high school and college. In 2010, Alan took over the day-to-day operations and has since built the company into what it is today. Alan now divides his time between his responsibilities as CEO of the business, sales, and training new employees on job sites.

He and his wife, Amber, have been married over 18 years and have four children: Carter, Carly, Cooper, and Cameron.

When he’s not painting, meeting with clients, or managing remodel or renovation projects, he is pursuing his other passion, sports. Alan enjoys working with area youth, teaching them the value of teamwork, integrity, and sportsmanship through coaching. He has coordinated and managed a youth basketball program with an average enrollment of 65 boys and girls in grades K-4 at the Union Mills Christian Church for several years. He has coached multiple T-ball, Little League, and basketball teams for over ten years and recently served as the Vice President of the New Sharon Little League Board. Alan is also an avid basketball and slow-pitch softball player. Recently, Alan joined the Mahaska County Area Rural Development board.
